Windows 7 which was first demonstrated at PDC last month, has appeared as "Beta 1" on torrent sites. While this new build (build 6.1.7000.0.081212-1400) does not seem to be significantly different from the one showed at PDC, it never the less does indicate that Microsoft is making rapid progress on the new OS.
